A former Heat and Kings guard has retired from basketball at 26 years old.

Kyle Guy, who spent three seasons in the NBA with the Miami Heat and Sacramento Kings, has retired from basketball at the age of 26.Guy is returning to his alma mater, the University of Virginia, as the Athlete Development Mentor/Special Assistant, the school announced in a press release on Wednesday.'We are thrilled to welcome Kyle and his family back to Charlottesville,' Virginia Men's Head Basketball Coach Tony Bennett said.
