: A former executive of a company was fined RM100,000 by the Sessions Court here today on charges of submitting false invoices amounting to RM41,760 for the payment of fire safety equipment.

The court also ordered the accused to serve two months in prison in default if he fails to pay the fine. The accused was charged under Section 471 of the Penal Code which is punishable under Section 465 of the Penal Code and can be jailed for up to two years or a fine or both if convicted.
