Two former Philadelphia Eagles players, cornerback and guard , are finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame in the Class of 2025.

The two players are finalists for the second time and join a group of 15 that includes the likes of Eli Manning and Antonio Gates. The Class of 2025 will be announced Feb. 6. Allen , 59, spent seven seasons in Philadelphia after being drafted by the Eagles in the second round of the 1988 NFL draft. During his time with the Eagles, he earned five of his six Pro Bowl selectionsand was a first-team All-Pro in 1989, following his eight-interception season.

The San Diego native, who played collegiately at Arizona State, spent 14 seasons in the NFL. He also spent three seasons with the New Orleans Saints (1995 to 1997) and finished his career in Oakland (1998 to 2001). Allen led his respective teams in interceptions seven different times — four with the Eagles and three with the Raiders. He finished his career with 54 interceptions, eight of which he returned for touchdowns. He also recovered seven fumbles. His 54 interceptions tied him for 21st in NFL history. In 2007, Allen was named to the Eagles 75th anniversary team and was inducted into the team’s Hall of Fame in 2011.The guard, who attended Frankford High School and played at Division II Bloomsburg, was drafted in 2006 by the Saints. Of his 11 seasons with the team, Evans won ain 2009, was selected to six consecutive Pro Bowls (2009 to 2014), and was a four-time first-team All-Pro (2009 to 2012). The selection committee can elect up to five modern-era players for the Class of 2025, which will be announced Feb. 6. The Eagles play in Week 17 against the Dallas Cowboys.
