BUTUAN CITY - Former Province of Dinagat Islands governor and legislator Glenda B. Ecleo passed away on Sunday night, August 27.She and her husband, Ruben Ecleo Sr., founded the Philippine Benevolent Missionaries Association Inc., a nonsectarian and nonprofit charitable religious fraternal organization in 1965.
When PDI was still part of Surigao del Norte, she was representative of the first district during the 8th Congress , 9th Congress , 12th Congress , and the 13th Congress .The provincial government of PDI mourned her death.
