PUTRAJAYA: Former Dewan Negara president Tan Sri Abu Zahar Ujang has been appointed as the chairman of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC)’s advisory board.
The anti-graft commission announced this in a statement on Tuesday , alongside the appointments of six other board members.“The appointments were made by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, upon the advice of the prime minister in accordance with Section 13 of the MACC Act, ” said the statement.
Meanwhile, another 12 individuals were appointed to MACC’s Consultation and Prevention of Corruption Panel , while five others were named members of the commission’s Operations Evaluation Panel
