Now State Police have charged the 59-year-old Shippensburg resident with obstructing the administration of law or government function, official oppression, and disorderly conduct after conducting numerous interviews with witnesses.Authorities began looking into the allegations when several members of the community called to report Beam's"disruptive" actions at several polling locations in his jurisdiction, McCormack said.
Guido determined that it was clear beyond all doubt that Beam had abused his authority and was unfit to serve, according to McCormack. Beam has been removed from office and a vacancy has been declared for the position of Constable of Southampton and Hopewell Townships, McCormack said.Before You Leave, Check This Out
