A high-ranking member of Pablo Escobar's Medellin cartel, known for his wealth accumulated during the cocaine boom, has been deported to Colombia after serving a quarter-century of a 30-year sentence in the United States.

An influential member of Pablo Escobar 's drug cartel , Ochoa became so wealthy from the cocaine trade that he was listed on the Forbes billionaire list in 1987. Living in Miami, Ochoa ran a distribution center for the cocaine cartel once headed by Pablo Escobar. Escobar died in a shootout with authorities in Medellin in 1993.
