JUST IN: Multiple sources have told News4JAX that Davis has expressed interest in becoming the next superintendent of Duval County schools.
Addison Davis, who served as the superintendent of Hillsborough County Public Schools, has resigned and expressed interest in returning to Duval County.– Former Clay County Superintendent Addison Davis on Thursday resigned from his position as superintendent of Hillsborough County Public Schools.
“Please understand that this was one of the most difficult decisions that I have ever had to make as our work in HCPS in not done. With this said, I have the opportunity to return to northeast Florida where my entire family resides,” Davis said in his resignation letter.
