But on Saturday, Nov. 30, he began to experience “weird chest pains.” The pain later spread across his stomach and shoulder muscles, where the pain was so severe, the star said he “could barely breathe.” As a result, according to Pintauro on Sunday, the condition led to “emergency surgery last night to repair the tear” and called the experience “the most excruciating pain I’ve ever felt in my whole life.”
Pintauro recognized that If it hadn’t been for the emergency surgery he underwent, the situation would’ve been drastically different, sharing, “If I had waited any longer, I could have died.” He also reminded fans of the importance of listening to their bodies, saying it “was the one who told me something was absolutely wrong.”
