Leonardo Castro has finally found a new club nine months after being offloaded by Kaizer Chiefs.
Castro – who is due to turn 34 – has been back home in Colombia since Chiefs decided against renewing his contract at the end of June after four-and-a-half years at Naturena where he scored 29 goals.The 33-year-old had joined Amakhosi from Mamelodi Sundowns where he spent 30 months. In the US, Castro has joined USL League One club Greenville Triumph SC ahead of the start of the new season which gets underway on Sunday for the South Carolina based club.The US club has confirmed the signing of Castro pending league and federation approval.
