A former Chicago Police officer is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday for his alleged role in the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, according to authorities. And while court records show that a plea deal is on the table for the former officer, he has so far rejected it.
with entering a restricted building without lawful authority, and violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, among other charges, according to a criminal complaint against him.
