Former AEW Women's Champion Timeless Toni Storm has shockingly announced that she is retiring from professional wrestling after 'being such a failure.'
The professional wrestling world was sent reeling when former AEW Women's World Champion Timeless Toni Storm announced her retirement from the business.In an interview with James Dator of SB Nation, Storm revealed that she was retiring after a string of losses across AEW, New Japan Pro-Wrestling , and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre , apologizing to her fans for 'being such a failure.
Born Toni Rossall in Auckland, New Zealand, Toni Storm began her professional wrestling career in Australia before finding her way to England and performing across Europe.Storm would quickly make a name for herself with Progress Wrestling and World Wonder Ring Stardom.Storm made her WWE debut on July 13, 2017 as part of the Mae Young Classic tournament, where she was eliminated by Kairi Sane in the semifinals. She would win a year later when she defeated Io Shirai at WWE Evolution.
