EXCLUSIVE: James Goldston, former President of ABC News, has signed a producing deal with Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment. The first three projects are already in the works, including one about the influential and controversial Kushner family
by Iris Yamashita. Goldston will executive produce the scripted series via his Aquitania Films alongside Kapital’s Kaplan and Brian Morewitz, with Kevin Marco overseeing the projects for the Kapital.
, the companion scripted series and docusies produced by Kapital and Goldston will be kept separate with their own creative teams but the intention is to sell them together as a package to be available on the same platform.
This is a story about family, and faith, and money, and just how far someone will go to get what they really want. With exclusive access, never before seen video and exclusive interviews, the docuseries will tell the story of what really happened in the run-up to a fateful encounter that would end in the death of the attacker. And how social media and obsession can come together to change the lives of a family and a community forever.
