JOHOR BARU: A man in his 30s was arrested following investigations into more than 20 police reports of forex investment schemes filed throughout 2019.
The man, who works in a local bank, was believed to have lured some 21 victims into a non-existent forex scheme, resulting in losses amounting to more than RM1.6mil.
"The suspect's main targets were those who work in the civil service, as it is easier for them to obtain loans.
