Water could become an issue with additional rounds of heavy rain forecast.
“Occasional pockets of heavy rainfall are expected to continue through Saturday, and saturated conditions could lead to instances of flash flooding,” the National Weather Service Office in Tallahassee said in a forecast statement.
“Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations,” the NWS also said. The best chances of rain come after 2 p.m. on Saturday with additional downpours predicted on Sunday.
