The St. Bernards Foundation hosts the annual Triple Swing golf tournament June 24-25 at Ridegpoint Country Club. Funds raised go towards improving cancer treatments at the hospital's cancer center.
Temperatures are a toasty 90+ degrees for much of northeast Arkansas, but some people are braving the heat this week for a good cause.
Triple Swing teed off June 21 with a dinner and dance followed by a pickleball and a two-day golf tournament underway at RidgePointe Country Club in Jonesboro. “The pickleball tournament is indoors, but all of our golfers have been outside in the heat. They’ve had plenty of Powerade, and water, and cold drinks, so we’re doing great,” Parkey said.
