Ford Megazilla crate engine gets 615 hp thanks to forged internals.
Peak power from the Megazilla comes in at 5800 rpm, while peak torque arrives at 3800 rpm. Ford also claims the engine can deliver over 500 lb-ft of torque from 2500 to 6000 rpm, meaning a steady torque curve as you travel through the rev range. A spokesperson toldvia email the Megazilla is"intended to be easier to drop into car applications rather than just trucks."
Ford says Megazilla V-8 crate engine will become available starting in the second quarter of 2023, though it has yet to release pricing.
