Ford expands the lineup of the Everest in Australia with a new version for adventure seekers
The Ford Everest gets the Tremor treatment, following the example of the Ranger. Upgrades include a new set of all-terrain tires and a Tremor-specific suspension. The SUV is exclusively available in Australia , featuring a 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel. The Ford Everest, the SUV sibling of the Ranger pickup, has finally unleashed an off-road version. Enter the Everest Tremor, which just launched in Australia .
These are combined with Bilstein Position-Sensitive Dampers and new springs, bringing a 26 mm increase in the ground clearance. The SUV also benefits from a Rock Crawl mode, just like the Ranger Raptor. The Everest Tremor is exclusively available with a 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel, producing 247 hp and 600 Nm of torque, while retaining the 3,500 kg of maximum braked towing capacity. The powertrain is one of the differences with the Ranger Tremor, which gets the smaller 2.0-liter bi-turbodiesel.
