The teaser video, on the other hand, is an audible delight as you can hear the car making a high-speed run, changing gears, and then downshifting. Unfortunately, there’s no car to be seen as the clip simply shows the Mustang logo.
The 2024 Ford Mustang will debut on September 14th in downtown Detroit and it’s slated to ride on a rear-wheel drive architecture shared with the Explorer and Aviator. While both of those crossovers offer all-wheel drive, it appears the Mustang will remain rear-wheel drive only., despite being officially announced in 2018. As a result, we can expect a familiar engine lineup that includes a turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder with around 320 hp as well as a 5.
