Our game RW+ member and tester found the shoe unlike anything she’s run in before, and—spoiler—she loved it.
This week on How Was Your Run?, we sent the Salomon DRX Defy Grvl to a daring tester who resides in NYC. The DRX Defy Grvl is a lightweight stability trainer with a gravel bike-inspired tread for runners who prefer gravel instead of trails or new trail runners who aren’t yet ready to get too technical when it comes to off-road terrain. The shoe has an active chassis to guide your foot when your form becomes sloppy and energy foam cushioning for a soft, supportive ride.
Reisman usually runs in zero-drop shoes but found Salomon’s 8mm drop alleviated her recent bout of tendonitis.
