The 105th edition of this Union County Thanksgiving rivalry took place on Wednesday.
Roselle wide receiver Shymir Burgess and quarterback Brandon Puryear after the Rams' 46-14 victory over Roselle Park on Nov. 27, 2024.
“We always had a bond together,” said Burgess. “We’re cousins together so we grew up together. We always played backyard football, playing catch, going outside it all built up.”Playing together for what will likely be the last time on a football field, the cousins proved to be an unstoppable tandem.
