Shocking footage shows elderly man fall into massive pothole next to Scots bus stop
Shocking video has emerged of an elderly man falling into a massive pothole beside a Glasgow bus stop.
The pensioner, who walks with a cane, crumples into the huge hole when he steps from the pavement moments after getting off a First bus. The man was taken by ambulance to hospital for treatment following the incident on Corkerhill Road in the city’s Cardonald area.A resident, who asked not to be named, said the video footage was “shocking”.“He stepped off the pavement into a pothole so big he fell into it, resulting in a forty minute wait for an ambulance while the elderly man lay injured.”She added: “A passerby helped the gentleman up and he walked back to the bus stop and then collapsed.“The pothole is massive.
