The amount of each payment and range of distribution varies by state.Georgia, Indiana, and Utah will issue food stamp payments beginning tomorrow. Here is the breakdown of dates, maximum payments, and how much of the population receives food stamps.
In the Peach State, a household of three receives a maximum payment of $740, and $1,691 for a household of eight. An additional $211 is added for household members ahead of nine.The average payment per household member per month is $182. Approximately 617,600 people, or 9% of the population, receive food stamps.
Approximately 5% of the population, or 156,300 people, receive food stamps. The average payment per household member per month is $179.
