The annual Food Bank of Alaska Thanksgiving meal event will hand out 12,000 dinners this year.
is busy putting together its 2024 Thanksgiving Blessing . This year marks the 20th year of the annual event. The food bank and its partners will share 12,000 ready-to-make Thanksgiving meals for residents across Southcentral Alaska.
Thanksgiving Blessing boxes can be picked up in the Mat-Su Valley on Saturday. To view the schedule and locations, click There are no requirements to be eligible to receive a meal. Simply show up at one of the pickup locations. The Food Bank of Alaska says it is in need of food and financial donations this busy holiday season.
