Authorities say the restaurant was raided in connection to a criminal investigation involving all of the restaurant’s locations

) - The Mayor of Foley has issued a statement regarding the raid on the Colt Grill in Foley earlier this week Multiple agencies raided the restaurant in connection to a criminal investigation involving all of the restaurant’s locations, according to authorities.

Mayor Ralph Hellmich said, “Foley has worked hard to build a thriving and welcoming downtown, and we are disappointed to learn of the troubling business practices under investigation at Colt Grill. These actions do not reflect the values of our city or the standards we expect from those doing business in our community. I want to thank our local police department for their professional response and continued commitment to keeping our community safe. The City is working closely with the local building owner to help address the situation with their tenant. While this incident is unfortunate, it does not define us. Foley remains committed to supporting our business community, and we will continue to move forward together.” - Federal agents were at the restaurant, located at Highway 98 and Alston Street, for more than two hours removing multiple boxes of evidence. Homeland Security said the raid was part of a Gulf of America Homeland Security Task Force operation where federal search warrants were served at multiple locations. Colt Grill locations were also raided in Arizona as part of a complex criminal investigation involving money laundering and labor exploitation at all Colt Grill Locations, according to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office in Arizona.HOT temperatures with an even hotter “feels like”Man wearing metal chain enters MRI room without permission, gets sucked into machine, police say
