The impacts of Covid-19 on women and their businesses The disruption caused by the onset of the SARS-CoV-2 or Covid-19 global pandemic was an unforeseen stumbling block for the developments made towards gender equality, professional economic parity, Inclusion & transformation, the reduction or eradication of gender-based violence and femicide and the economic empowerment of Africa’s women.

She began her law career as a candidate attorney at Webber Wentzel Bowens Attorneys before moving to manage the financing of major build projects across the SADC region for Siemens Ltd as their Head of Project and Export Finance.

Prior to joining Absa, Yasmin ventured into private practice as a founding partner at Phukubje Pierce Masithela Attorneys responsible for various portfolios of the firm, including Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate law, Structured Financing, Project Finance and Public Private Partnerships Practices.Anele Siswana is a registered Clinical Psychologist. He is an academic, a lecturer at the University of Johannesburg.

In both practices as a clinician and academic he integrates Western Psychology and African Situated Spirituality.This allows him to offer psychotherapy that is deeply located on ideas, methods and energy that has an an appreciation of ‘Situated African Spirituality’ and recognition of Indigenous Healing Modalities.
