A number of exemption programs exist, and can help residents to save money on their property taxes.

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Homeowning residents of the Fairbanks North Star Borough who are hoping to apply for an exemption on their property taxes in 2024 have until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 14 to do so.

These include Farm Use, Fire Prevention and Disaster Relief Exemptions, as well as Volunteer Emergency Medical/Volunteer Fire Fighter Services Exemption.
