More than a month after federal officials recommended a new version of the COVID-19 vaccines, 7% of U.S. adults and 2% of children have gotten a shot. The numbers â which one expert called âabysmalâ â were presented Thursday, Oct. 26, at a meeting held by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, started the hearing by reading an email CEO Mark Zuckerberg sent to other top Facebook officials in 2021. These requests from the White House included suppressing online discussions surrounding vaccine safety and efficacy.
