The incident took place in Kilmarnock last week and was reported to East Ayrshire Council's Environmental Health department.
A woman has been caught fly tipping after being filmed on a Ring doorbell she didn't know was there. The woman was seen dumping children's toys and clothes at the side of the road in Kilmarnock , Ayrshire.
The 30-second clip shows the woman - who appears to be middle aged and was dressed in a lilac vest top, stonewash jeans and black trainers - scurrying back and forth from her car. Outraged locals flocked to the comments section where they slammed her over her actions. One said: "A love seeing these clowns getting outed n the scary thing is she won't learn her lesson she will collect n dump it somewhere else.
"Well done for outing her definitely someone with knowledge of that wee lane she prob stays in bonnyton." Another wrote: "Fantastic footage, don't wait to see if they uplift it, go straight to the police and council." And some residents were baffled by her crime, as the local dump is just a mile away from where she left the rubbish. One said: "This is shocking you can literally book a free appt at the dump!".
An East Ayrshire Council spokesperson said: "Following an investigation, the offender was traced, admitted the offence and was issued with a fixed penalty notice for fly-tipping under the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
