Floyd Mayweather’s daughter, Iyanna, was arrested early on Saturday morning in Houston after an alleged incident involving rapper NBA YoungBoy and another woman, according to NBC News.
Iyanna — a singer and social media influencer also known as “Yaya” — was arrested and taken to the Harris County, Texas, jail around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday morning after a 25-year-old woman was stabbed and hospitalized, per the report. The woman, Lapattra Lashai Jacobs, has since undergone surgery. Her injuries are non-life threatening, per the report.
Iyanna allegedly stabbed Jacobs multiple times amid an altercation between the two after she showed up at YoungBoy’s home, according to TMZ. Iyanna reportedly identified herself as YoungBoy’s fiancee upon arrival, though was asked to leave. Jacobs, per the report, has a child with the rapper. Iyanna was charged with suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to NBC News. The 19-year-old was released from jail on bond and is due in court next on Monday.
