Multiple witnesses reported seeing the woman narrowly miss both people and dogs before she came to a stop car auto cars ⬇️
is in jail after allegedly drunkenly driving her Nissan SUV on the beach, past bystanders, and into the water. Police say she had a blood alcohol level nearly twice the legal limit. Thankfully, nobody ended up injured during the event but there’s no telling if the SUV will make a full recovery.
According to the police report, Sarah Ramsammy of Orlando is the woman charged with both reckless driving and DUI after the event which took place on May 27th. Video from the event at Smyrna Dunes Park shows the high notes of the interaction between police and Ramsammy. Right from the beginning theWitnesses in the video immediately tell police from the Volusia Sheriff’s Office that Ramsammy nearly struck some of them, including children, with the vehicle.
