After entering the water with her dog and getting to about waist-deep levels, the large reptile bit her hand and wrist before pulling her down into the water. “The gator released the female victim, at which point the boyfriend drove her to the boat ramp at Charlie Leighton Park,” the agency said.FWC responded to the incident and said it was awaiting a trapper to arrive and locate the alligator.Aydian joined News4JAX as a digital producer in September 2024.
