Teryn Acri of Florida has been arrested twice in two weeks for drug possession. The Brevard County Sheriff's Office made the arrests after discovering drugs in Acri's possession during separate traffic stops.
A Florida woman has been arrested for the second time in less than two weeks after deputies discovered drugs in a bag labeled 'Definitely Not A Bag Full Of Drugs.' The Brevard County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) said on January 6, Teryn Acri was first arrested during a traffic stop. Deputies found trafficking amounts of methamphetamine on her person, and she was ultimately charged with trafficking in meth, possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Acri was then released two days later on a $15,500 bond. On January 18, a deputy and K-9 were on patrol when Acri was again pulled over in a vehicle. While Acri was a passenger, the driver consented to a vehicle search, believing nothing illegal was inside. However, deputies found methamphetamine, needles, Narcan, digital scales, small baggies, cut straws, and other drug-related items in Acri's possession. Sheriff Wayne Ivey expressed frustration over the situation, stating, 'Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
