The largest teachers union in Florida has filed a lawsuit against Governor Ron DeSantis, asking a judge to reverse an order to reopen schools this fall.
Teachers are not sacrificial lambs to be slaughtered because you don’t want to take the time or resources to assure safety either from a pandemic or gun safety laws.
The debate about schools has been one of the fiercest ones throughout the pandemic, in large part because the science of children’s role in spreading the pandemic isn’t yet clear.
