The Seminoles are favored by 10+ points for the third straight week.
The Seminoles didn't allow a touchdown for the first time this season as the defense was at the forefront of the 41-3 victory against Syracuse. Florida State forced nine punts and only allowed points on 1/12 drives as they kept a tight hold around the Orange. After outscoring their opponents by a combined 80-20 over the past two weeks, the Seminoles will face a test when the No. 16 ranked Duke Blue Devils travel to Tallahassee on Saturday night.
This is the third consecutive week where the 'Noles have opened as a double-digit favorite. The Seminoles were 25-point favorites against Virginia Tech and 20-point favorites against Syracuse. Duke is 5-1 but is dealing with uncertainty surrounding the availability of star quarterback Riley Leonard. The junior signal-caller suffered a lower-body injury late in the loss against Notre Dame that was later reported to be a high ankle sprain. The Blue Devils came out of a BYE week in a win over NC State with backup quarterback Henry Belin IV under center.
