The department identified the skydiver as 69-year-old Frederick C. Morello in a statement released Monday. The Ormand Beach resident was pronounced dead at the scene.Resident James Sconiers told the news outlet that the skydiver landed in his front yard. Nicole Lacount, whose aunt lives in the area, told WKMG-TV that the incident site was"the worst I've ever seen," according to to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories.According to CBS News, the skydiver made the crash landing a short distance from the Skydive Space Center, located in Titusville.
