The suspect in a Florida murder investigation was captured Wednesday afternoon at a restaurant in central Alabama, according to the Autauga County Sheriff’s Office.

The Florida sheriff’s office contacted its counterparts in Alabama with information that led them to believe the suspect was in the area. Sheriff’s deputies found the suspect at Daisy’s Restaurant, located at 2371 Highway 14 West in Autaugaville. That’s about 25 miles northwest of Montgomery and approximately 550 miles north of the Bradenton, Florida, area.
