A Florida man died and two teenagers were injured following a multi-vehicle crash last week in south Alabama, authorities said Tuesday.
John D. Woods, 68, of Century Florida, was driving a 2002 Jeep Cherokee on Highway 31 in Brewton, in Escambia County, on June 10 when he was struck by a 2020 Nissan Murano, said Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Senior Trooper Joshua Thompson.Woods, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida, where he died of his injuries Thursday.
