Gators basketball coach accused of sexual harassment by multiple female students

Todd Golden will coach Florida’s men’s basketball game vs. Grambling State on Monday night, the school’s athletic association confirmed in a brief statement on Sunday.
“Todd Golden’s status as UF men’s basketball coach has not changed,” the statement read. “He will be coaching the game Monday night.”It was reported Friday that Golden has been at the center of a Title IX investigation by the school into allegations he sexually harassed numerous female students. The investigation reportedly was opened on Sept. 27, but only came to light after aon Saturday, saying he was considering legal action against unknown parties.
Florida hosts Grambling State at 6 p.m. Monday. Golden is in his third season with the Gators, whom he coached to a 24-10 record and an NCAA tournament berth in 2023-24.
