The Polk County Sheriff’s Office says the female suspect admitted to calling 911, saying she hoped deputies would help them move items from the house and would give them a ride to the airport so they could take a trip to New York.
POINCIANA, Florida — Two accused house burglars are in custody after one reportedly called 911 in order to ask deputies to help them move items out of the residence.
Later in the day, a 911 call was received from a residence but no one spoke, the sheriff’s office says. Deputies went to the home and found a man and woman inside, neither of whom lived there.
