AYER HITAM: The Welfare Department has resolved issues involving the quality of food given to flood evacuees at temporary relief centres, says Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri.

The Women, Family and Community Development Minister said that this comes after the matter was discussed with caterers in charge of cooking and delivering the food at temporary relief centres .

Nancy said this when met after visiting a PPS at SK Kota Dalam, which is under the Ayer Hitam parliamentary constituency, here on Monday . He added that affected victims in his constituency received a small serving of food which appeared bland and lacking in nutrition. In the two-minute, 40-second video, Dr Wee expressed dismay at the quality of food being distributed as the flood victims were already experiencing much hardship with their homes being flooded.
