JOHOR BARU: The number of flood victims in Johor has increased to 1,093 from 298 families, as of 4pm on Tuesday (Jan 24).
The State Disaster Management Committee said that the number had doubled compared to 422 victims from 120 families at 2pm on the same day.
"All of the victims have been placed at 13 temporary relief centres," the committee said in a statement.The highest number of victims is at Segamat, with 975 people from 273 families placed at eight PPS, followed by Kluang with 75 victims from 19 families at four PPS.
