Based on the radar projections, that could change to a warning by later this morning or early this afternoon.from northern New York, Vermont and New Hampshire through the mid-Atlantic and down into the eastern sections of Virginia and North Carolina. While the thunderstorms should be moving east by early evening, showers are predicted overnight and more are in the forecast for Monday, although not as severe nor carrying the potential for flooding rains like today’s storms are expected to bring.Showers likely, then showers and thunderstorms after 11am. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. High near 80. South wind 3 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.
