We are tracking a potential for strong storms with a flood risk.Our northern cities are in a flood watch starting tonight and lasting through Thursday.The timing is late tonight lasting through tomorrow morning. Rain amounts in our northern cities may range from 5″-8″.major flooding this week
so rivers will be monitored closely. The East Fork of the San Jacinto River, which is also already seeing major flooding, will also need to be watched as any heavy amounts of rainfall will only exacerbate issues in that area.The severe threat has increased for SE Texas. There is a level 2 threat on a scale of 5. This is primarily for the overnight hours.Some storms are possible this evening.
