On Friday at 2:27 p.m. a flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until 8:30 p.m. for Susquehanna County.

"Kitner trailer Park floods. Also flooding will occur along low-lying areas along Choconut Creek," adds the weather service. "Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles."A flash flood warning is issued when a flash flood is either imminent or already occurring. In flood-prone areas, it's crucial to move immediately to higher ground.
