Excessive rain could lead to minor flooding in “low-lying and poor drainage areas,” the weather service said. The advisory issued lasts until 11:15 a.m. today, Aug. 7.
Monday morning, with more rain expected in the area.
Areas that will experience flooding, the weather service said, include Cleveland, Willowick, Parma, Lakewood, Euclid, Mentor, Cleveland Heights, Strongsville, Willoughby, Eastlake, Warrensville Heights, Highland Hills, Timberlake, Lakeline, Garfield Heights, Shaker Heights, Maple Heights, South Euclid, Parma Heights and Rocky River.
