EasyJet flight to Manchester makes emergency diversion to France due to passenger needing 'urgent medical assistance'
An EasyJet was forced to make an emergency landing in France on Sunday afternoon after a passenger needed 'urgent medical assistance'. The flight, which was heading to Manchester from Catania, in Sicily, had to make the diversion and land in the south of France.
EasyJet have confirmed the flight had to divert, with paramedics meeting the aircraft on arrival at Nice. The plane then continued back to Manchester airport. From the flight path, the aircraft can be seen circling once before landing in Nice. The plane later jetted off from Nice again at 4.51pm.
