An American influencer and former flight attendant has revealed why she absolutely “hated” the job and quit after six years.
Kat Kamalani, a mother-of-two from Utah, took to TikTok to explain, while travelling around the world was “so much fun” – it comes at a cost.

Picture: TikTok / @katkamalaniIn the video that has been viewed more than 350,000 times, Ms Kamalani said her whole life as a flight attendant depended on seniority, with the date they were hired dictating “everything”.
She said flight attendants were considered new if they were at least five years or less into the job. “And people are travelling in the hardest times of their life. They are sleep-deprived, they’re travelling for an emergency, a funeral, there are a lot of times when people at their lowest when travelling and who gets the brunt of it?”
She did say the job allowed her family to travel at a time they couldn’t afford airline tickets and she was grateful for that.I spill my feelings/secrets about being a flight attendant for six years.
