A man wanted on sexual assault charges fled from police and crashed his car Monday night in Dauphin County, police said.
As Peiffer’s car approached the Mushroom Hill Road intersection, he “intentionally drove his vehicle into the guide rail and continue[ed] down an embankment,” Hummelstown police said in a news release. Peiffer is being held at the Dauphin County Prison on charges of statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with minors, corruption of minors, fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, and invasion of privacy.
