Flash floods due in 3 states if heavy rain occurs

It said in a statement today the notice was issued based on the Meteorological Department’s rainfall forecast, the Southeastern Asia-Oceania Flash Flood Guidance System, and the DID flood forecasting model., the areas at risk are Johor Baru’s Plentong subdistrict; the Tanjung Surat, Kota Tinggi, Ulu Sungai Johor, Sedili Kechil, Ulu Sungai Sedili Besar, and Sedili Besar subdistricts ; and the Triang subdistrict in Mersing.
